Product Care and Safety
A quick inspection before every session and sensible storage after play help protect the player and extend the usable life of the stick.
Inspect
- Check the shaft, blade, heel, hosel, and end plug.
- Look for cracks, soft spots, delamination, sharp edges, or movement.
- Confirm that any extension or end plug is secure.
Use and transport
- Use the product only for hockey and follow applicable rules.
- Do not strike hard surfaces or use the stick as a lever.
- Protect the stick from crushing loads during transport.
Clean and store
- Wipe moisture and debris away after use.
- Store dry, away from extreme heat, sunlight, and prolonged freezing.
- Do not drill, sand, heat, or structurally modify the stick.
Stop using a damaged stick.
Do not use a stick that is structurally damaged or behaves unexpectedly. A parent, guardian, coach, or qualified equipment specialist should help select and inspect equipment for a minor.
